That is disappointing to believe if only Cuz, IT and maybe Ben are salvageable for the future. I would like to believe Greivis has some qualities that can't be taught and will be a better player when we have more options around him. But maybe not

We need to bench 11 players. Unfortunately, as good as DFC is, I don't think he can play all five slots at once.

Because despite Tyreke not being an All Star player, he would still be the 2nd best player on this team even if those other guys were on the team. B-Mac may eventually be better than Reke but right now, he's not an impact player at all.

Also, Jimmer going in early may be a sign of someone being traded. Either he or Thornton. I doubt Marcus would be demoted to the end of the bench if Salmons hasn't been.

Absolutely. It still boggles my mind that we gave up 3 good defensive players yet acquired a defensive minded coach. Makes no sense unless the unmentionable was the goal.

But they hardly even played until the end of the season and Douglas really only made an impact when we played Golden State

In addition (and I can't believe I'm saying this) I think Malone's offensive system underutilizes some of our offensive weapons. Like it or not, MT and perhaps Jimmer are our best scorers aside from IT and Cousins. But our system doesn't get them shots, particularly when Cousins is out. I hope we get to see Jimmer play with Cousins this half.

Reke has played much more like himself the last two games, had the fans on their feet last game, and appears to be shaking the rust after missing pre season and battling a sprained ankle.

But that's all I'll say here as this isn't the thread for Reke vs Vasquez.

Shug?? My idea of how Tyreke should have been handled is that they negotiate a contract before he signed the offer sheet. $11 mil was a bit high and I am ambivalent about it. However, GV should be better.

They may have the potential to be the best scorers but they certainly haven't shown it thus far this season, except for ONE game by Thornton.
