Go Kings!

two good wins V Denver but we really need a statement game and big scalp to really push us forward.

must keep winning. The time for learning off the back of tough losses is gone and there is no value in playing well for a close competitive loss. Our time has to be now. We must win and cease this.

Demarcus will need to be steller but that is expected. Its about the rest of the band here. We need Rudy to be efficient, Rondo to win against Parker as a facilitator and our guys to collectively play defense.

Statement game - no better time then now

Would be a big statement game for us but I'm not expecting a W here. Spurs move the ball well and this ALWAYS kills the Kings and their terrible defensive strategy (which still exists for some reason). I just hope this doesn't knock the momentum and we can keep it going even if there's an L tonight. But you never know. Let's go Kings!

Win or lose tonight, I hope DMC destroys Duncan. Tired of the many fans of the Spurs claiming Duncan is a 1st/2nd team all defender still.

The Kings are 24-31 and have 27 games remaining. The next 8 look like this:

Spurs at home
Clippers at home
Thunder at home
Grizzlies in Memphis
Mavericks in Dallas
Spurs in San Antonio
Pelicans in New Orleans
Cavaliers at home

The last 19 games consist of 10 home games and 9 road games and aren't as daunting but also aren't loaded with tomato cans - really just the Lakers once in L.A. and the imploding (blackhole?) Suns once at home and once on the road. Point being, the Kings can't really have a poor showing during this murderers row of games and hope to make it up down the stretch.

If the Kings are really to make the playoffs I think they actually need to at least go 4-4 in these next games.

So while I'd love to be able to say that it's okay if they lose to the Spurs tonight, it really isn't. Not if the postseason is still a goal. I think we can chalk up the game in the Alamo as a loss but I think the Kings need to win 2 out of 3 of those first home games, beat either the Grizzlies or the Mavs on the road and then beat either the Pelicans on the road or the Cavs at home.

Either way, after that March 9th Cavs game we'll know if the Kings are still capable of making a push or if we need to do the normal routine of looking at mock drafts and hoping for lottery luck.

Will be there tonight. Would be impressive and fun if we win this one. We have what it takes to win this one but the odds are against us. Hope they have the energy they need to compete well. Couple of hot hands on offense and defense would help a lot. Also VF21's rabbit foot and the other good luck charms could be a big help. Go Kings!!

If K. Leonard is not right or doesn't play I like our chances. Best case scenario is we get a big win and then Utah takes an L against the Spurs.

This should be about HOW we play. I don't really go in for moral victories, but If we stay focused, and keep up the defensive intensity, we could win but even a loss played well should help keep the team on track for the Clips, and we all know how DMC feels about THEM!

If the team somehow wins 5+ games in this stretch then I will say they are going to make the playoffs, because that will be a significant stretch of quality basketball and focus going into the end of the season where most bottom dwelling teams taper off.

Make no mistake this game will be probably the hardest of them all, a well disciplined team with consistent effort and gameplanning and execution. You beat the Spurs, they do not beat themselves.

Let's go Kings, I believe that we are capable of winning at home even though we are facing an experienced and well-oiled machine called the San Antonio Spurs, I hope everyone will be able to maximize their contribution to a team win tonight.

Anyone know what the Spurs injury report is gonna look like for tonight's game? I know Manu and a few others have been out recently so that could really help us!

A win tonight sure would be a welcome anomaly. I hope fatigue isn't too bad. Would be nice to see Seth get some burn if Ben and Marco aren't getting the job done. Kings for life.

Didn't realize until last night that this game is going to be on ESPN...none the less, I don't expect a win, I'd like them to compete in this one and not have to turn this one off early. Maybe Patty Mills or Danny Green go for career highs? unless that trend has ended?

If there was ever a time to make a playoff push, it's now. For one, we are quickly running out of time and the 2-3 teams ahead of us aren't bad enough to slide significantly. Second, we have to start beating at least some of the top teams in order to have a prayer towards the tail end of the season, as well as for the players to prove to themselves that they are capable. We have underachieved thus far significantly and it would a more than welcome sight if we click from now on. Hustle and effort shouldn't be a random thing. We would have won a lot more games if we had those two things every game.
