First half impressions:

Nets: VC is over-rated. Kidd is still recuperating from his knee surgery. Lawrence Franks needs to take a couple of Valiums AND he needs to learn what the black stripe at the edge of the court means.

KINGS: Team focused. Playing controlled KINGS basketball. Bibby looking good, clearly winning the PG matchup so far. Pedja, wincing a couple of times, but already has TWO dunks. Miller is finally taking those jumpers he's been passing up. Cat's shot isn't falling but he's doing a lot of passing. Darius is doing quite nicely. Kings doing a competent job on the boards. 24/17. Only two Kings bench points. All in all, a very nice effort in the first half - 14 assists to 7 turnovers as opposed to Nets 11 assists/6 turnovers. Good defense by the Kings.

Violet Palmer is a disgrace to women AND to officials.

As we start the second half, I (and Grant and Jerry) would love to see the Kings really put the hammer down and extend their lead. Don't give the Nets any reason to hope.

Yay we pretty much got twice the assists as the last game in the 2nd half. We also got twice less turnovers in the 2nd half. The Kings are comeing back nicely from a awful game.
