[Game] Kings v Lakers - 4/26/12

That video was crap. I was waiting for the Maloofs to pop up at the end with a "JUST KIDDING! LOLZ"

Did anyone else notice at the end when they were playing Grant's voiceovers with the highlights - they showed highlights of IT, Jimmer, MT, Donte, DMC and Salmons.

Reke was mysteriously missing. Am I just being overly-sensitive here?
 
Did Grant just tell the fans how great they are, the same ones he rips and yells at every day on his show? And was that message handed down by the Maloofs, who've shown they no respect act all for the fanbase? I know that's what the organization is supposed to do, but it's kind of like smacking someone across the face and then telling them it was only because they love you.

Signs point to him being traded during the offseason maybe.

I am not sure you should take any highlight reel with Salmons on it as a testament of team focus.

You are the first to mention the possibility as a serious effort on the Kings part. I'm more worried about losing JT. Someone will offer a lot of money and we'll refuse to overspend.
 
I cannot believe how cynical some of you have become. Sit back and enjoy watching the last game of the season. It's not that hard to do.

Jerry and Grant, if you want to give the Kings fans a gift then shut up about IT. He's done well speaking for himself. All you do is make the organization look even more pathetic.
 
I'm hoping that we can say we gave a good first half effort, and then leave our bench in all the way down to Honeycut and if they blow the lead, it would simply look like the typical substitution pattern Smart's done all year. He's been practicing making that argument... use it when it counts!!
 
Grant and Jerry don't understand how IT isn't ranked in the top 3 as rookies. Well, be prepared to be disappointed. Just saw an ESPN 1st and 2nd team article today which had IT a 2nd all-rookie member. Saw an article last week on ESPN about rookies with the brightest future, and IT didn't make the list which included 10 rookies, nor honorable mention.

And now no one else in the league knows much, because he isn't getting the same hype nationally as he gets in Sac. Means a lot when that comes from the mouth of a member of arguably the worst FO in the league, and Grant. IT is good, but I think a number in the Kings FO and Grant/Jerry will look pretty foolish when he doesn't become an All Star or the next Nash.

Guess it's just a hunch, with all these trade talks. If he does stay, I still want to see him at SG and not SF ever again, but thats not happening anytime soon

Same here. It's probably happened before but I don't recall a team misuse a player to his detriment like this. It's ridiculous

Well whenever it comes to the national media you either have to be a winning team OR a flashy player (be it passes or dunks etc) to garner more attention. Not sure who the 10 rookies on that list, but I think IT is a better player than rookies other than Irving/Rubio/Faried maybe. In terms of usage IT could easily pick up more assists if Keith Smart was running a more proper offense. Plug IT into the Spurs offense and he'd pick up a good 3 more assists per game. So I don't think IT is as good as Grant and Jerry hype him to be, but certainly should be in the top 5 rookies.

It was regarding rookies with the brightest future and biggest upside, not where they are now. Also don't think he gets 3 more asts per, as he probably gets half the playing time, if that, on a team like SA.
 
Reke's jumper has been pretty good this month. Hopefully the "Shot Doc" can make it even better and even add a floater this summer
