Beginning to think IT is just about the worst mentor we could have had for Ray coming out of college. Either that, or this is truly Malone's system.

Oh yeah, IT controls who plays and who doesn't, how many minutes they get, and coaches the bench guys as well...

Ray just isn't a pure point guard. :)

It's the system. It's either we dump the ball to Cuz and let him create, or we go PG heavy with trying to create. Just not very much ball-movement

At this point, I'm just sitting back and watching the emergence of Ray McCallum. His game is improving with every tick of the clock. Now if the rest of the team not named Cousins can just keep up. :)

Isaiah during a timeout "Nice job out there Ray, but don't pass so much, just shoot bro, POINT Guard means score POINTS"

i get the feeling Rays high shot attempt numbers come from a combination of trying to leave a mark in his limited opportunities of getting to be a starter, and the fact that he has a career night going and trying to pile on to that.

Remember, he may have taken a lot of shots in New Orleans, but he also had 10 assists and 1 turnover.......

Listening to Kayte explain defense makes it more and more obvious how much she deserves to do more than sideline chit-chat. I'd love to see her take over for Jerry Reynolds when he retires.
Hell, I'd love to see them switch jobs.

She really knows her stuff. I don't listen to the 1140 post game show too often, but when i have i always find myself both impressed with Katie and also agreeing with a lot of what she says.

I like Benny not letting Hill just waltz on in. :)

Heheheheheh. I used Benny and Hill in the same sentence.

Odd observation of the night: The Lakers have at least three mouth-breathers on their roster.
