[Game] Kings v. Jazz - Wednesday, Oct. 17 - 7 PDT

I would physically hurt one of these officials if I was front row. You have to make people give a **** about what they do.

This is a far, far too biased game between two teams that are far apart. The Jazz don't need their help. They are very good. The Kings are bad. They're young. They will fall apart on their own.

If you want to officiate like this then you need to be put in place.

Kings have taken 6 three pointers and are taking a TON of mid-range jumpers. Welcome to 1985 baby!
if you mean to say that mid range jumpers arent good, these are all open mid range shots that professionals should make and should practice regularly. making these basic shots is what got them the lead early on, and now they are missing them.

anyway, nice to see jerry still active in the kings community

Defensive focus was great to start the game, but once the Jazz punched back we just tucked our tails between our legs and forgot all about playing defense.

Fox looks good and Mason does not. Bagley played well for the most part and Giles is being taken to school on the defensive end. The refs have unfortunately had their effect on us as our two best players have 3 fouls each, some of them being complete bullcrap calls.

Someone tell Shumpert that he is not Kobe Bryant. He ruined our rhythm and is literally pushing everyone all over the court.

When we are on and playing hard we look good, especially when we pass the ball. But we also look young and stupid and don't know how to stem the bleeding. Buddy has been a bit of a black hole as well.

5 three point attempts is horrendous

That's the only drawback here, but those shots are there if Joerger finally moves away from the mid-range love. If Joerger sees it and allows it they can turn this in a major positive start for the first time in forever. That first half again tells the story of this team, no Fox and no Buddy = no chance. Even with them it's a tough go every night but in time under the right system (close to what they are doing now) there is a future.

I hope the Kings can win the highest bid on the Alec Burks unrestricted free agency this summer. he fits. MAJOR upgrade from the likes of Shumpert and McLemore.

They could use him in a similar role as they had planned for LaVine with that big contract offer this past summer.

interesting half. came out with defensive intensity to start the game which was good to see. Shumpert playing poorly, or at least shooting poorly. Buddy needs to concentrate and avoid dribbling in a crowd. Bagley looked good offensively except a bit lost on defense, but very encouraging. JJ should just shoot floaters. Bjelica should guard the slower bigger player and Giles the smaller faster one. Utah took away all our 3s, although we helped a bit by not being as sharp to pass to the open man. we are down more than we should be, or at least if feels like that...

Some nice things that half. Want to see more Giles/Bagley/Fox/Buddy/Bjelica...but buddy really needs to clean up that ball handling

The Jazz are reaching a little. What he needs to do is look for the shot instead of a post entry off that pick. One of those was caused by a terrible screen from Giles. He let his man go right through then didn't space out and instead allowed two defenders to trap him.
