Here we go again, fellow Kings fans!!!

The weather here in Forest Central is dicey at the moment: windy, precipitation fluctuating between sleet and snow, and this is just the beginning according to the weather gurus.

I decided I had to change something to get rid of the loss karma, so I decided to try Gevalia Irish Cream coffee. OMG - I may have to take a second job to afford this stuff. :D

I have washed my lucky socks, my purple slippers and my Christie jersey. Personally, I don't think US customs let any of the bad karma back across the border, so I think we'll be fine.

It's another early game (4:30 p.m. scheduled start time) so if you're taking part in the prediction game, please get your picks in on time.

I'll be doing the PBP with one eye on the TV screen and the other on the weather outside. I do not want a repeat of the ugly "tromping outside without boots to clear off the dish" episode. My toes didn't unthaw for hours.

Get all your totems ready, and think the good thoughts!

If you get a chance, check out the stickied thread about becoming a Contributing Member of Kingsfans.com The PBP is possible because we have a board owner who is kind, thoughtful, generous and dedicated to keeping this the most popular Kings message board on the Internet. When you become a CM, which you are under absolutely NO OBLIGATION to do, you help defray the costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and running.

Thanks for selecting Kingsfans.com as your PBP website. I would probably do this anyway, but it's a lot more fun when I know I'm bringing real time impressions to fellow Kings fans who aren't able to see or hear the game.

Now, I have snacks to prepare and more coffee to brew!

GO KINGS!!!!

GO KINGS!!!!
The purple Pedja road jersey is freshly laundered (I always wash them after a loss, and yes when the Kings are on a run they go untouched. Old friend who pitched for the Angles is to blame for this bad habit) Im just hopeing that the roof doe not blwo off of the house. Sad sight it's garbage pick up day and the storm has "decorated" the entire street I live on. Nice day for a fire.

Tank Thompson visiting with Kara and Koz in the House Party.

They're talking about the acquisition of Eddie House...for just a moment or two.

They're primarily talking about the all-time dunkers. Vince Carter is Kara's favorite. Tank talks about Dominique, MJ, Kobe, Spud Webb...and they show some of the famous Wilkins dunks.

Okay, remember - game discussion goes in the OTHER thread.

Not a game shot by Pedja, BTW - an unhand shot from the half court during practice.

We have our regular starters on the court. Hawks have Walker, Harrington, Collins, Smith and Lue...

We're ready for the tip.

Brad got a haircut. His do is almost as short as Tag's. :D

Phillips Arena is about 1/2 full...

I don't mind answering questions, but please make them at commercials, or between quarters, half-time, etc. If I have to answer a question, I get lost in the PBP...

I know this is the play by play thread but I saw it here the first time and I need to say it. What you guys doing here for tsunami victims is really great. I wish everybody has the same sensitivity like you.

The purple ribbon I was talking about appears to be a car magnet. It has the Kings logo on it and says "Tsunami relief" ... They said info should be posted at kings.com
