Procrastinated on packing for an important business trip until tonight because I am obviously very good at proportioning my time so I have absolutely no time to write up a proper game day post.

Thankfully, absolutely no one wants to remember the Spurs game (aside from the Vlade moments) and we're playing the Bucks tonight, one of the abjectly terrible teams in all of sports.

In their Kenny Natt as coach phase, the Bucks quite frankly aren't good, no matter how many expensive role players they have on their roster. Giannis is oozing with potential but he also has the potential to suck raw eggs on any given night. OJ Mayo took a page out of OJ Simpson's book and has been murdering the pre game buffet since signing with the Bucks and Ben has been playing much better on defense as of late. Meanwhile, the Bucks frontcourt features John Henson (apparently back from the Muppets press tour) and a bunch of European big dudes.

If the Kings put as much effort into their defensive game as they did against San Antonio, this is probably a win no matter how much our offense struggles. If the Kings struggle out of the gate and absolutely suck at everything, we're still playing the Bucks, which means there's still a good chance of winning.

Seems like a chance for Royce White to run up and down a lot. I'd like to see him initiate the offense a couple times, as a point forward. Probably asking a lot, but we'll see

Will be there, last game of season for us. Be nice to see agood effort from our bunch. Rather see a good Kings game than a White appearance but both would be fun. I hope Cuz doesn't decide to turn in the rest of this season's pay. We need an inspired DeMarcus. We beat them at home so odds are we could lose this one by in attention, so heads up guys.

Apparently, this game is the IT show. Prepare yourselves for his "rise to prominence".

I'm not the one who came up with that btw, that's how the telecast has opened. It's all about IT, fellas. But hey, they did mention Rudy/Boogie after 2 mins of blabbering about IT.

Hope Coach actually lets Rocye get some burn tonight. Giving him 1 min was pretty stupid, especially for his NBA debut.

Note to Tetsujin: The US - with a couple of exceptions like Arizona and Hawaii - is now observing Daylight Saving Time so I corrected your title. :)

Checking in,

Ben hit a tough shot. That was cool, but Isaiah had a wide open three for like five seconds before Ben could get open. I think he should've taken it.

You might think it was stupid but based on Royce's Twitter account he was glad to step on the court. Now the pressure, at least a little of it, is off. Next milestone? Actually touching the ball.

Good luck to Royce. I am rooting for him. :)

Oh good. I was wondering how long it would be before someone found something to dump on IT for. So this time it's not taking a shot and dishing it to the rookie? ...sigh...

Was funny, since they talked about "focusing on the Kings rookies",...then proceeded to show an IT highlight series of plays. LOL

Demarcus is probably in a very good mood. I'm assuming he got to watch the game before warmups.

BTW, when and where did Acy sprain his ankle? Or is this just a move to open up a spot for others to get more time

We're not battling for the playoffs. Quincy Acy, while fun, isn't a main cog in our roster. I might be missing something, but I don't understand why you think they'd need to make up a story about him if they wanted to give some of the others more time.

I don't think they would need necessarily need to. Thought maybe they just decided to give him a couple games 'off'.

Different situation, but they gave Williams a game 'off' and said that he had sprained his ankle, when he clearly had not

In other news, I'm gonna hazard a guess that White just might get some time on the court AND actually touch the ball today. :)

Yeah, but that was disciplinary. I think there's sometimes a bit of confusion between what the coaching staff says and what the press folks say. Remember the other day Jason Jones reported DMC wasn't playing because of tendinitis while Malone stated in the post-game presser he (Malone) had decided early in the day to give DMC the day off because he was exhausted.
