Greetings, fellow Kings fans.
Things have finally settled down a bit so I'm here, ready to do the PBP.
The game in New Orleans was, as I've said in my blog, a glimpse of the future. And it sure was fun. Those are the kinds of games rebuilding teams put together just often enough to give the loyal fan base a reason to keep on believing in their team. And did I mention just how much fun it was?
The Bee today mentioned that Moore, Martin and Garcia are still going to be out a while longer, with Moore possibly being the first one back. That could mean we see more games with the kids at the controls...
And now, a brief word about our board...
Kingsfans.com is a great place to come to catch up on the latest discussions, talk about your hopes and/or fears for the team, etc. We have some fantastic members who really know the game of basketball and we have newcomers who are able to join in and learn more about the game we love. All are welcome to our family-friendly board.
All this is possible because of the generosity and dedication of our board owner. If you would like to help defray the costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and running as the #1 Sacramento Kings internet community, please consider becoming a Contributing Member You're under no obligation, of course, but our Contributing Members do receive things like larger avatars, custom user titles, and first chance at tickets to group events, such as attending the opening night game at Arco with some of your favorite KF posters.
For those of you who still haven't made it to Arco yet, take a chance. Get the $10 seats and have FUN!! This is the right time to go to a Kings game at Arco. The fans who are there are there for the fun and excitement and really want to cheer for the team. The "Hey, look at me" types, who only show up because it's the place to be, wouldn't be caught dead in Arco right now and that's fine with me. It's not about being seen, unless you count having your picture flashed on the jumbotron as you scream and yell.
It's a good time to be a Kings fan. Now, let's get ready for some Kings basketball.
