[Game] Kings @ Trailblazers - 12/8/12

Reke did his normal pre-game warm up before Orlando game and found he was not able to go due to swelling and tightness in the knee. What I worry a bit about is the "swelling." Normally, swelling in the knee that doesn't go away in about a day means there's some kind of internal damage. It might not be serious but it could mean more than just "day-to-day" which is what Kings are calling it at this point.

Somebody needs to guard Batum tonight -and not one of the Kings tiny guards. Now Coach Smart says Evans "might play" - game time decision.
Confirmed Cisco to start so looks like Reke is not a go.

Going with IT/Jimmer/MT at times will not work tonight.

Sorry coach, you might have to apply a little logic to your sub patterns tonight and not simply wing it.

I'm kinda hoping Cuz continue his good play of late and puts up a 25/15, 30/12 type game. that kind of a game is getting closer to happening and without Reke it's setting up well for a game like that.

Without Reke, for Sac-Town to win Cousins has to be huge and MT needs to climb out of his slump. Both are possible, but all we can do is watch and see if it happens.

I'm just wondering if cuad can offer any analysis beyond his usual

______ sucks

or,

lol @ Reke/Brooks/Jimmer/whoever.....

I can't believe you're doing this after you turned out to be so wrong about T-Rob while I turned out to be so right.

In case anybody didn't notice Kings just played a very good 1Q. Nice lead due to Blazers bunch of TO's (9) but many forced by Kings deflections. Salmons' with 6 assists already.

Huh?

Let's see you analyze why Brooks sucks. Majority of my posts include a lot more than this or that player sucks, or lol @ that player. C'mon, let's see some analysis.

Salmons and Garcia both looked like vets out there. Didn't force anything and got the job done. Looked nice and smooth.

Let's be real here, Landry is a better finisher at the rim. In the two T-Rob college games that I saw, if there was a defender his size near them, then he mostly threw up bricks. His defense wasn't good in those games either. Terrence Jones schooled him in one game, and in another, a random OSU player crossed him over pretty bad. He reacted slowly when other players made sudden movements. He gambled too much for steals. He didn't really play strong transition defense. But I think time and Clifford Ray can improve his defense.

You say let's be real here, and then go on to say you've watched him a whopping two times. He's a pretty good finisher, can finish with both hands, seems to protect the ball well on dumpoffs and putbacks, and will smash it any chance he gets. He does need to improve as all young players do and become more fluid, especially in his post game, but Carl-I'm-so-short-I-keep-getting-my-shot-blocked-Landry is not a better finisher. Sorry. You'll have to wait and see.

...

Yeah, he's a month into his rookie season, but Landry has been far better this year.

So, where' your analysis on Brooks? Quit dodging the question. You're the only poster to type " _____ sucks" so far this year that I've seen, and I'm asking why. Back it up.
