There could be issues there but it's for a bunch of reasons and don't forget they won a ring. Largely because of that Kawhi deal but still, the Kings can't knock them for not winning. People used the same excuse about Fox back in the day. Talents talent and that talent has to fit and work together at some point. Right now the Raptors have a young stud in Barnes who needs a team built around him just like Fox all the while some of their main stars are beginning to fall off the books. Hopefully losing Van Vleet for nothing gets the Raptors FO off their hands because not only are they either overpaying for mediocre results or watching it walk but they're wasting their best young player. Just like the Kings did with Fox for years.
With LaVine I don't get the Monk vs. LaVine thing. Fox, Monk, and LaVine as your main 3 guard rotation is a lot of talent. Historically LaVine is at a different level than Malik has ever been in terms of efficiency in a go to role. Now, contract year Malik is starting to shine but then it's a question about level of sustainability.

Siakam yes, was indeed very important. But his fit with Sabonis is questionable, and so is his advancing age where I'm not sure his game ages all that well.
