I doubt the trade was contingent on Kris Murray being available or not; however, does help smooth out hurt feelings if he was on the board when they traded the pick.

I think with this trade they freed up $15-$18M. I think that gives us something like $30M in cap room... Isnt that exactly the number that Jeremi Grant is wanting? Probably also good enough to make a run at Khris Middleton or possibly absorbing contracts of a marquee player. Prosper was one of my least-favorite players in our range this year. Still, they could've used it on someone else, but I'm hoping one of the guys I like falls to 38.
