[Game] Kings @ Thunder - 4/24/12

I know that there's something to be said for "passing tired horses," but this game, and the game @CHA have shown glimpses of what this team is capable of playing like. Still probably two players away (defensive big + full-sized sf), but this team is better than its record indicates.

You forgot to add legit coach to your list of team needs, but I agree.

MKG, Improved Whiteside, Sloan. Wouldnt be a bad summer.

More bad news for the pro-tankers: Clippers lose @ATL, clinching the division and the third seed for the lakers. They'll have nothing to play for Thursday night and, unless Kobe decides he wants to go for the scoring title, might sit everybody.

Keep Evans at the 2, let IT take the lead, keep MT on the bench to permanently replace Cisco, and work hard this summer with JT and DMC and we're gonna surprise some people. Both Oscar Robertson and Scot Pollard have commented that there's something there. I tend to believe both of them.

Brown isn't real happy with how some of his players have been performing. Add to it the pure and simple fact that Kobe hates us, and he's not gonna walk into PBP with anything less than a W in mind.

We can get great looks like that one from JT, by knowing what the hell we're doing when either Reke/Cuz gets doubled.

Keeping Cuz/Reke in here is kinda telling me Smart has in fact been trying to win all along, and has not been tanking. Which means, what we've seen from Smart is his best, and there isn't some tanking conspiracy behind it.

Our bench getting outscored by Thunder's 34 to 7. And this without Harden.

GP has got his work cut out for him (he'll probably pick up a scrub off waivers and call it an offseason).

Unless you look at it as a higher meta conspiracy, like extending Smart was Petrie and the Maloof's super-double-ultra-secret plan to get Anthony Davis/MKG.

Either that, or really really sad.

...sigh...

Cisco's powers have now gotten so strong he can influence play on the court from the bench. That foul by Evans was a classic Garcia move. My head hurts...

NICE move by DMC. Followed by Derek Fisher doing his best to break my heart yet again.

You know what? **** the bull****; I want a team that's going to play to win, even if it "hurts" them to do so.

That's kinda what Scot Pollard was saying. And it's what I believe with every ounce of my being.

I am proud of what our guys did tonight. They played hard and they did their best, and they have nothing at all to be ashamed of. And yes, I know the Thunder starters are on the bench. It doesn't matter. The Kings are playing like a TEAM and I freaking love them for it.

GO KINGS!!!!

I agree. But I've gotten so angry watching this trainwreck of a disaster the last couple months, that I can't bring myself to get overly pissed one way or another at this point. Do understand what you're saying though.

damn as much as i wanted the loss, getting beat by okc's bench is embarrasing.

Oh please. You wanted the freaking loss, you're getting the freaking loss. Please do not belittle how hard the Kings have tried tonight.

Look at Cousins' face. He has no reason whatsofreakingever to be embarrassed. If you are, too bad.
