Bradley, Tag, House, Martin and Barnes on the court.

Barnes for two.

93-67 SA

At least Bradley is going to get some minutes. Maybe he could smack TMAss silly. ;)

Still 93-67 SA

Kings with six assists for the whole game. Tag with most of them.

6 assists/16 turnovers.

3:44 left.

I'm superstituos, but not that much :)

Sorry VF21 for posting here while the game is still on.

97-67 SA

In 1988 the Kings had a total of 9 assists in a loss against Utah. This is going to shatter that record.

:(

Commercial time out.

everyone has an off day...too bad we had to get ours when we could have made a statement to the entire league.

No, I won't. When I'm doing a real PBP, it really slows me down if people are posting in this thread. Remember, I'm on a dial-up connection.

Geoff - It's an off day, and it started out that way. BUT - and to me this is very important - Chris Webber is sitting on the bench. And, as Grant pointed out, you don't have statement games in January. This could have been a barometer game but without Webber, how valid is this?

100-69 SA

And some guy is yelling "D-fense!!!" Now that's a fan... or a drunk. ;)

We aren't going to win them all. It frustrates me that when we do have a bad night ALL the wheels on the wagon fall off, the horse runs away and the wagon tips over...

It WAS the Spurs. They came out ready to play and we didn't. Once Webber was out, it was all over but the final score.

Jerry just remarked that he also thought TMass "moved inside under Webber while he was in the air."

I'm just as glad Webber didn't play the rest of the game. No need to aggravate a small injury on a night like this and make it into something worse.

Well, we have only one more game against them, right? It's true that without Webb it's not all that, but we weren't doing that much better when he was in. It was a statement game to me in that while we had a great 6-game streak, this was the test of if we were ready to show the league that we can be counted among the elites or if we were still on the Mav/Sun run and gun level. I still think we're in the elite but we (the players) need to start believing it more, i guess.

This is a great thing done for those who can't see the game. If I had to depend on it, I would be damn glad it is here!

Grade to VF for continuing to the end tonight: A+.

YOU GO GIRL!!!

Really. You'd like them to at least put up a respectable fight, but when it comes down to it, it only takes a one point blowout on Thursday to split the series.

So he learned something in his season with the Jazz.

02-03 season Webber was playing his best basketball of the year. We go into the Delta Center to play the Jazz. Early in the half Webb goes up for an rebound and lands on FTM's foot.

04-05 season Webber was playing his best basketball of the year. Spurs come into Acro Arena to play the Kings. Early in the half Webb goes up for a jumper and lands on FTM's foot.

It appears he may have been reliving his days from the Jazz.
