Good afternoon, fellow Kings fans!

Great evening for a basketball game. Had a lot of fun watching college football yesterday. Congrats to the Irish (of course), Ohio State and USC.

I took the time to rearrange my Kings memorabilia to make sure the bad voodoo was totally removed. Even washed the Kings blankey AND the purple slippers. Not going to take any chances.

Tonight's game should be interesting, to say the least. Just hope Bruce Bowen doesn't have one of those unfortunate incidents where he's out on the court, minding his own business, and suddenly either breaks into a flying karate kick or accidentally puts his foot under someone in the air. I know Spurs fans will disagree, but one or two times is accidental. When your hit list includes some of the premiere shooters in the game, then it's not coincidence IMHO.

Beverage for the day is French Vanilla coffee with a hint of cinnamon.

This is the PBP thread, which I'm sure the majority of you are now familiar with. We also have piksi's game thread. Be sure and read it. Our piksi is definitely in mid-season form already. :D

We also have chat over at mIRC, server irc.bludgeon.org, channel #kingsfans.

Take a moment, if you will, to consider becoming a Contributing Member of Kingsfans.com Our board is the #1 Sacramento Kings Online Community. We don't have a lot of advertisements, pop-ups, etc. You're under absolutely no obligation, of course, but if you would like to learn more, please check out the thread in the Lounge on Contributing Member Thank you so much.

It looks as though John Salmons will be back, and hopefully Mike and Ron have rested up just a bit.

It should be a good game.

:D

Whoa. All of a sudden the temperature outside has apparently dropped like a rock because it's actually cold inside my house. I'm going to get the fire started in the woodstove and get ready for the game!

You know, the San Antonio Spurs truly epitomize what champions can look like. There were a couple of possessions in the first quarter that were virtually flawless. One resulted in an open three for Manu. The other resulted in an inside stop by the Kings. Just a random observation, for whatever it's worth.

;)
