The Journey of Discovery (otherwise known as the opening road trip) for the Sacramento Kings continues tonight as they pull into San Antonio to play the reigning NBA champions, the Spurs.
This isn't a game anyone expects the Kings to win. A lot of the fans, however, are looking for something other than a win. They're looking for signs of life, of team play, of energy and heart.
The Kings were a broken team after last season. With a new piece (Beno Udrih) added less than 24 hours ago to shore up the Bibbyless backcourt, they still have a long way to go to get back to being healthy, but every journey starts with a single step.
