[Game] Kings @ Spurs 12/29/13, 4PM PST

Some of you need to take a pill or something. The amount of venom being spewed towards our own team - a team that did a pretty damned good job against a top tier team - is embarrassing.

Just a taste of reality here: They are the San Antonio Spurs, playing with their entire roster. We are the Sacramento Kings. If we walk away having played this well we have gained a lot - win or lose.

I repeat - they are the San Antonio Spurs playing in San Antonio. We didn't suck. A lot of far-better teams have lost by a lot more.

You mean I shouldn't burn my Ben McLemore voodoo doll?

We're not playing our best lineup down the stretch. Regardless of who the team is, that doesn't make sense

We're acting like Lakers fans right now. My gosh. Everyone needs to calm down

What's embarrasing is that our own players hurt us more than the other team why is Mclemore in the game? Why does Thornton even play? Our own players killed us more than the other team. We win that game easy if we don't have to low IQ chuckers one who can't even catch the ball in the game.

Ben was incredibly disappointing. Our offense was a mess to end the fourth too but aside from that, it was a pretty good game.

It's like Ben is nonexistent out there. Never gets a shot and his defense is horrible. Why do they keep playing him? I would like to say its a slump but he has been horrible 90% of the games.

benching ben during a season where we have almost no shot at the play-Offs to win games is a bad idea. Now, I do want Williams to start, he looked like he could potentially live up to the top pick when he was starting with us.

Why not try IT-Ben-Gay-Williams-Cousins? We have nothing to lose.

JT "stonehands" give this game in 4th.
Could have used NDiaye there guarding Tim and foul the crap out of Duncan instead of JT giving up points like a schooled kid

We didn't lose the game, the Spurs won it. Simple as that. Manu and Parker simply flipped a switch in crunch time and Duncan's defense shut down Cuz down the stretch.

These guys were in the finals last year and have won many championships before. Everyone just needs to remain calm.

It's not like we got blown out by the Milwaukee Bucks.

wasn't much of a foul and it was extremely stupid for him not to kick it out.
When he made the catch on that ****ty pass, he was the only one down court. And Duncan did foul him in the back. He should have passed when he got the rebound, but under duress, I'll let that slide.

Thompson made a number of mistakes tonight, but:

  1. He wasn't the reason we lost tonight, and
  2. More than a few of his mistakes (that pass, the inbound with 0.5 remaining, just to name two) were the result of his teammates setting him up to fail.

Because Ben is awful and Williams can't play PF and is a wing

I know its the spurs so playing them tough is a good accomplishment, but the fact that they had the game in the bag and just completely threw it away is just infuriating

When you are under the hoop and have two guys on you it is so incredibly hard to pass it out. Trapped by the baseline + 2 people is a recipe for disaster, the pass shouldn't go down that deep. Hard to fault JT.
