It wasn't and he did. To come back and be in charge of the front office after that happened, would further cement the reputation of this organization being a complete mess

Yeah, but Dumars started gaining favor with Vivek at some point. Vivek has a history of trusting the wrong people. We haven't seen Dumars around have we? Vlade didn't just fall off the turnip truck. If he was making a long play it wouldn't surprise me.
