Kings released Jeter

Not a surprise here. Hopefully this gives him enough time to possibly catch on with another team for training camp.

I'm so glad someone already posted this. I heard it earlier today and wanted to rush home to make maximum use of the obvious:

Pooh dumped!

Sorry, Proph. I couldn't help myself.

:p

So pooh was flushed down the toilet? I know, lame one.

Didnt really get a chance to see him play, last night he didnt play much and i was a few beers deep so i dont recall him doing anything, but good luck to him.

Flush that toilet!!! The guy never had a chance. The Pooh didn't stick in Sacto. :D Are you guys South Park fans....No Mr. Hanky in Sacto, maybe he can give it a go in Denver, they have Earl and seem to like the small PGs. :D

 What a pooh competition. :D

I figured Jeter would be the 1st to go. I predict Woods is next (although I like him).

We sure could use a couple of trades to get rid of guys for draft picks. That is the only way I see our getting to keep a couple of the young guys.

It's sure looking that way which is very unfortunate, we need to keep at least one of JWill2/Amundson. JWill2 from what I saw in the 1st game, Amundson as more of project until he learns to get at least some form of a shot going for him.

It's actually better if the player gets released early so that he can try to get on with a different team, or make plans to play in Europe. It's worse to get released late in camp because it then limits your opportunities.
