TJ Ford
Maceo Baston

Kings get a starting caliber PG and free up the logjam at the 2-3

Raptors get a fix at the 3 and the 5.
 
But God told Salmons to stay away from Toronto. Wouldn't this deal be like senting John to hell? Literally?
 
Yah, Salmons wont go to Toronto.. Sucks, but I am sure he has some kind of clause NOT to be traded to Toronto.. lol.

Plus I kind of like Salmons contract. I am sure they are working on a way to get Salmons some decent playing time or adjust it in order for him to produce.

It's probably as easy as asking Salmons what it would take for him to be able to play the way he did at the start of the season (without having to start).
 
1. Mikki isn't a center.
2. There's no way this would be attractive to the Raptors.

Nah, Salmons said God was leading him away from Toronto. Imagine if God tells you to stay away from somewhere, and then your team trades you to there. :eek: I'm not familiar with how this God thing works, but wouldn't that be like, defying God? Wouldn't that make Toronto the apple, Salmons Eve, and we the snake? ;)

But seriously, I don't think we should trade for someone like Ford until we're ready to compete in the playoff.
 
Why not just trade Artest for Ford straight up. They make almost the same amount of money. Thats if Artest re-ups for another year of course.

:D:D Funny post. God related only, there was a movie named the "Ruling Class" starring Peter O'Toole. In the movie he thought he was Jesus Christ. He had long hair and a beard and wore white robes. At a point halfway through the movie someone finally asked him why he thought he was Jesus Christ. His response was, " I used to pray to God all the time, and one day I finally realized that I was talking to myself."

I'd like to get a little something more out of them, considering TJ's injury history. An 08 first (#17) would be ideal but Ford's BYC and Ron's opt out option complicate things. Raptors fans seem to like Ron for Ford/09 first, but if things go well in Toronto that could be a pick in the mid to late 20s.
