What happened tonight?
We waited too long to start playing. They made some big shots down the stretch and to come back like we did you need nothing to go wrong for you. They made some shots and we missed a layup. It was just one of the games were we didn’t play well.
We didn’t have any energy at all. We made a couple of runs and tied them in the second quarter, and then in the third they opened it up again. We made another run, but it just seemed like we didn’t have it. They were very active the whole game.
Did missing free throws lead to losing the game?
We missed free throws…I don’t know…a lot of things didn’t go right.
Was it because of playing back-to-back?
You can’t miss, that’s all part of the league, and you play back-to-back games. Especially the guys that missed them, they don’t usually miss them.

Were you feeling the effects of last night?
I don’t put no excuses on anything, they came out and played good. We didn’t hit many shots, but give them credit, they played a good game.
Did the Raptors frustrate you?
We couldn’t hit no shots, that’s the main thing. They played good, they made us turn the ball over and we missed a lot of shots.
What about free throws?
That’s a big thing too, we usually shoot a lot better than that. I do too as well

Do you feel it was a game you should have won down the stretch?
We lost the game so you can’t say that. We lost the game and they played well. We can only give them the credit. They won, they beat us.
Were you surprised by the defensive intensity?
Defence had nothing to do with it. I missed 50 open jump shots. Peja missed 150 open jump shots. We just didn’t play well but they beat us. They played hard, they played defence and we were part of the problem.
Is your leg hurt, you were hobbling a little – maybe lack of lift?
Lack of stroke. You have those days, everything was short. It is just one of those days, so frustrating you have to laugh and go to sleep. I can’t wake up and get this behind me.
Do you see a change in the Raptors?
They have a lot of talent, and J (Rose) and Rafe (Alston) will really keep this team going along with Bosh. They have a good team.
