Tasmin Mitchell, 6-7, 235, LSU
Raymar Morgan, 6-7, 223, Michigan State

not suprised Ryan Thompson is getting a workout. I like Charles Garcia and Denis Clemente.

Yeah, these are candidates for our second round pick at best. From what I've seen on the various draft boards, most of these guys are considered late second rounders. Not that there can't be a lot of disagreement about the placement of second round guys, but I'd like to see us at least give the guys projected for the end of the first and beginning of the second a run through as well. It's even possible that these guys are jockeying for a summer league invite rather than our #33, though Randle and Garcia are unlikely to go undrafted. Or, maybe we're looking into acquiring a later second-rounder, who knows?

Garcia is very talented. His only problem is between his ears. I think Clememte is a tough kid and was a real glue guy on his team. But I think I'd go with Jerome Randle first if I was looking for a point guard. He's a little shorter, but more talented overall. I also like Aubrey Coleman.

For the most part, most of these guys will go undrafted. Of if drafted, will go in the second round. But it appears to me that the Kings might be looking for players that go undrafted to invite to camp, or perhaps the summer league.

Of the guys listed the one's that I think have the best chance of being drafted are Garcia, Randle and Coleman. I think Clemente is a real longshot, but its possible. But your right. All these guys are borderline as to being drafted. They all look like possible camp invitee's to me. I can't see us using our 33rd pick on any of them.

Interesting. Where do you get this info? Where can I get this info? Thanks.

I don't know, after Thompsons showcasing at Portsmouth he may very well have solidified himself as an upper 2nd rounder. Brockman did basically the same thing last year.

It seems like Randle is in the right place at the wrong time. I cant imagine the kings picking a point guard not named John Wall out of this draft. Love Randles games though. Hopefully the FO decides to stock pile on bigmen.

We've given summer league slots, or even contracts, to some less likely guys just because of their family connections. You never know.

I think Ryan helped himself. But its not as if he's an unknown to the scouts. Its possible he could sneak into the second round. But I sincerely doubt he would go as high as the upper part of the second round. Not when you have guys like Varnado, Pondexter, Vasquez, Parakhouski, White, Jones, Etc. all projected into the top of the second round. You also have the real darkhorses like Willie Warren and Garcia. Guys that have shown first round talent but have dropped. Someone will take a flyer on Pittman before any of these guys.

Having said all that. There always the possiblilty that someone just falls in love with one of them. I do think Ryan has an inside track with the Kings, and he is a nice player with good size for the SG position. But he's not as talented as a Dominique Jones.. Who I would take before Ryan..
