Having most of our remaining games against the teams trying to pass us could be a good thing. We're sitting at #3 right now which means they all have to knock us out of our spot. It means we control our own destiny. Is this Kings team up to the challenge? We'll find out. Having Mike Brown on the sideline gives me confidence that our leadership is sending the right message. And if the team isn't up to the challenge in the regular season than we know how the playoffs would have gone anyway. Sooner or later you're either good enough to hang with the best or you're not. And if you're not, the sooner you find out the better.
Jokes aside, making the post season will be good for the team's growth. Our core is set for the next few years. We have to see the likes of Keegan (and hopefully, Davion, Keon, Queta, Kessler) show improvement to improve as a team. Yes, Monte needs to work some more magic, but growth by these guys will be the surest and lowest cost method to improve. A post season run will help in all of it.
