The weather is a balmy 37 degrees (outside on my front porch) but clear. Wind is negligible and I have plenty of wood to stoke the stove, so things should be just dandy.

Scot Pollard is talking with Grant and Jerry. They aren't giving him a headset, and he says he understands...and he just apologized again for his temper tantrum back in the day.

He's in street clothes so obviously he's not going to play tonight. I'd love to see him co-broadcast but I can imagine it would cause problems since he is a Pacer now.

Scot said AGAIN that the standing ovation he received from the Arco fans last year is one of the highlights of his career.

Okay, gather your lucky charms, favorite Kings apparel, beverage(s) of choice, etc. and get ready.

As always, all I ask in return for doing the play-by-play is that you keep a positive attitude in THIS thread! If you get upset and want to rant, etc. feel free to use the game thread piksi has started.

Scot had a great interview with the guys and now he's standing with Tag (a fellow Kansas Jayhawk), laughing with Pedja, and pointing at the sign in the crowd that says, "Thank you, Scot! We miss you!!!"

I'm hoping Flash (Kevin), Evans and Daniels get some minutes tonight. And I'm sure OHSacFan is thinking the same thing!!!

They're showing the player introductions. I certainly wish the team would coordinate their entrance to the calling of their names...

Very nice ball handling so far. Lots of sharing; Kings definitely playing their game...

Gotta give credit to the Pacers, however. They're showing a lot of heart for a team that is totally and completely gutted... Kings need to make sure they don't get sloppy...

Jerry Reynolds just announced he is "broadcasting this game steroid free." I would like to make the same announcement. I, too, am typing this game steroid free. I am, however, under the influence of Diet Pepsi Vanilla!
