this feed I'm watching has grant/jerrys mic on during game breaks and you can hear them waxing lyrical about the scoreboard and grants sarcastic comments to his producer.
Still some major up and downs and yes, Smarts rotation pattern has a lot to do with it. Playing guys for a full quarter and then sitting them for 20 minutes of real non-game time is just ridiculous. First you had Westphal who would play guys in 5 minute spurts now you have a coach who plays 12 minutes then 4 minutes, then 24 minutes to finish.
At some point, the players need to take responsibility for their play on the court. We could have Jesus himself drawing up plays for us and it wouldn't make a difference if we can't make wide open shots and have at least 6-7 unforced turnovers.
Reke and IT need to do a much better job at taking care of the ball. 7 TO's between the two of them is unacceptable
I know it's the third game but it's really hard to have hope when we are making really stupid mistakes and turnovers... man not sure how pumped up for Sleep Train Arena Black Out if we don't get a W today. :/
Why do we subject ourselves to this??? Literally it is not even fun to watch anymore, its so frustrating watching our starters rot on the bench until the 6 min mark of the 2nd quarter.....even westphal wasnt that stupid

Well it's the Kings "Jesus" that has put together a very awkward combo of players and has a coach that has no way to implement a way around it besides throwing bodies in and out and hoping one gets hot for a bit. I've been watching ball a long time, I can't remember ever seeing a team this easily picked apart with a gimmick defense. Teams have even less respect for the Kings ability to spot shoot than I originally thought. Just crazy. I've never seen teams have 4 players with at least 1 foot in the paint on multiple sequences, multiple times, in multiple games.
