[Game] Kings @ Pacers 11/3/12

My goodness. I don't remember a time in the last 8 years where our defense has been this stifling. We're getting our hands on the ball, intense perimeter pressure, challenging shots at the rim, and helping on rotations.

Fantastic

Man Tyreke must have stripped the ball at least 6 times. Stole it a couple too. Hes playing great so far. Nice to see cuz look a little more like his old self too.

The first eighth looked really, really bad. The second eighth was a lot better. Though I think we still might only have made one jump shot. Too many turnovers. But the defensive intensity was great, even with the IT-MT-Tyreke lineup.

Here we go, 2nd quarter, where it usually falls apart. Can Smart manage it today, because we have momentum.

and BAM, Reke at SF. 'twas nice while it lasted though.

This will be Smarts only answer if he wants to run IT as a PG. Go back to the start of this game and the Pacers had literally 4 bodies in the painted area. Thornton comes in and just his presence alone is drawing defenders out and opening lanes for Reke and space for Cousins.

James Johnson's lack of shooting is killing us... dont be surprised if Salmons shows up in the starting lineup sooner than latter

Two, three at most team fouls in the first. This is really refreshing after last night's struggle.
Also nice to see our best offensive players aggressive and involved rather than having role players chuck up one on one garbage.

We looked good with Reke handling and playing the two man game with Cuz. Something I think we both want more of.

The refs just aren't whistle-happy like last night. I think I've seen about 173 things they would have called fouls last night that have gone unwhistled tonight.

To be fair Cisco is getting nice position from that down screen from chuck, but of course he's doing nothing with it.

thats the play we ran all last year for Salmons to brick off the front of the rim.

The team is playing hard, I can't fault them for not working. However, they only seem to play hard when they know Jimmer isn't going to play...I truly think the team is blackballing him.

Second unit has been trash.
