The hill 3 was a perfect illustration of ITs impact on d. He gets caught on a screen and never finds his man, rotates out to the 3 point line but gets backed down and when help comes, it leaves someone open. After the shot he looks at his teammates with his hands up.

How many times does he expect teammates to cover for his defensive issues.

He got switched off onto George and no one covered his man, Hill. There was no reason for the guy on Hill to leave him that open, especially if there are other players in the area.

I'm not arguing our team d is good but you can't have a guy get beat multiple ways on d and always expect the rest of the team to cover it.
