Kings now in top half of Power Rankings

ESPN's most recent power rankings, just before Kings left on current road trip, have them up to #13 from #15 week before and #24 prior to Artest trade.

With the 3-1 road trip (so far), could the Kings break into top 10 in power rankings for first time this year? If they can get past Bucks, I say for sure.

I also heard on radio yesterday that since the Artest trade the Kings are #2 in the NBA for defense/points allowed. That true? Wow.

good job kings. a couple more losses for the lakers and a couple more wins for us puts us at the #8 spot. i had to do a little math, but ever since artest came we have only allowed 93 points per game with a winning record. that's pretty dam good.

Yeah, but they are fun for the rest of us cause we haven't had any this year. And we got spoiled from 98-04 when we were always at or near the top. Now we have arguments to be higher, also a first for this year.

Kings crack Top 10 in power rankings after Laker win!!! now 9th after being 16th little more than a week ago.

And the Pacers are right above them. So if Kings can beat them......

No biggie but at least the rest of the NBA sees the Kings coming.
