If You are Kings fan - chances are - You just want this game to be over hoping that Kings can play well enough not to keep it close - giving the referees the chance to win the game - for the Nets.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1-5 in the last 6 - defensively non existant - taking quick shots - making pathetic turnovers and missing FTs over and over again. If You add the fact that at the moment it looks like the whole world of the NBA is against the Kings - no wonder we need a break, they need a break to calm down, regroup, recover and hopefully come back with the vengeance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
8 long days till the trade deadline. 8 days of hope depending on personal preferences (there will either going to be a change or not). The way I see it - we need changes - not a change. Mobley was a change - and as good as he is - it did not change much for the team overall. We still suck everywhere we sucked before - in some areas even more. Mobley is a good player - but his strengths are in the areas where Kings were OK before him. all I am trying to say is that the issues are somwhere else and they will not be changed by trading one player.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do we miss Bobby or what ? Watching the games lately - it is obvious that Bobby is the only player who is not "soft" on the floor. Just watching the games - one can tell something is missing and that something is Bobby Jackson.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last nights game was another "close call" We only played well for one quarter which is not enough to beat Bulls anymore. Same might be true for the Nets tonight unless VC does not play.Nets are playing well and VC is just from "another planet" at the moment. It is simple - we have more talent and experience but that will not be enough if we do not rebound and defend - and chances that - it changes over night are ...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
CW - he has got to hit some shots tonight. He just has to. Everything else has been there anyways ( minus transition defense which goes for all players). We will not survive another 7-21. Would not mind sein Jabari schooled tonight. (for ols times sake)
Brad - played well but needs to be even more aggressive
Mike - Kidd is waiting so there is a challange. Mike just needs to hit free throws. He is thinklng too much about it.
Mobley - He is currently paying the salaries of NBA executives all by himself at the moment. Maybe he can use that anger in a positive way. Kings sure could use it.
Barnes - trying hard but hustlle can never replace talent
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Evans - stupid turnover cost us last night. Other than that no complaints here.
Darius - just be Darius
House - Bobby get well soon please.
Tag - needs to get minutes
Martin - was nice to see him play. did OK

"Mateen section"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
RA - I am sure he is looking to the break too. Lots of issues waiting no him. Lots of work too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nets can be dangerous if we let them. A career high always possible by a younger player.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go Hornets !
Go Warriors !

Defense and Rebounding!!!!!!

Officials aside, the Kings aren't going anywhere unless they improve in both areas.

Bibby and Mobley both have to improve their man D!!!! It is putting WAY too much pressure on Miller and Webb as the guards continuosly get beaten like a drum off the dribble.

This seems like the perfect time for the a BREAK!

We should dominate this game. VC and Kidd are not of a carbon based lifeform at the moment, but unless they can score fifty a piece I think we should walk away victorious. Say what you want about webb, he NEEDS to shoot those open 18 footers and I predict he will be the key to our success tonight. BIg men step it up a notch and it should be an easy night.

i was watching highlights from the Nets v Wolves game last night and they said through the first half only 3 players scored for the Nets....JKidd, VC, and Ron Mercer....basically those three had no help and it wasn't enough for them to win....VC rolled his ankle so it'll be interesting to see if he laces them up tonight

as for us....::sigh::....we have to win

We need to go out fight and win... GO FIGHT WIN....heh i feel like im back in cheerleading or something....GO BIG PURPLE...lol....we need this win to go in the all star break on a semi-high note....but really i can't wait for the game to be over so they can all go home and stay in their beds all weekend long...exept Mike...he needs to work on those FTs....but when you look at him and you can just tell he is just drained...physically and mentally exhausted...this break hopefully will work wonders...i am a firm believer in "everything happens for a reason" and this "omission" of our guys from the all star game is gonna pay dividends...im callin it right now

we need to have a well balanced night in scoring...Chris needs to score...if Matt is gonna be in there--i love his hustle...but he's gotta score a few buckets...Cat is gonna get his 16-22 points relatively easily like always....Brad if nothing else will make a living at the FT line hopefully he can capitalize on that...after the night he had last time out with the Nets...i wouldn't be surprised if they double teamed him all night long....Mike i know has gotta be pissed...and i wouldn't be surprised if the put the whole team on his back and just rode in for the victory

DEFENSIVELY....we gotta play some....rebounding was better in last nights game but we have to continue that and step it up even more in that category

we are the better team...most of our players are healthy for the most part....and a lot more when you look at this jersey team...we know how to play team ball and if we play it be have to win....there in no way their 2 should be our 5-9 guys

GO KINGS!!!!

WE BELIEVE IN YOU!!

I, for one, hope to see more of Kevin Martin. He has a lot of energy, he DOES bring some defense to the court, and we have no reason NOT to give him some minutes. I also have to wonder - again - why Michael Bradley hasn't seen any time. I respect and admire Rick Adelman, but at this point I don't think he can afford the luxury of not trying every possible combination available. Bradley is healthy and he is bigger than a breadbox. He should have had some PT.

Go KINGS!!!

Good night to play the bench more espcialy if the starters struggle agian. I suspect the starters will look better than last night. Big issue for me now is with the Kings interior defense and rebounding being such an obvious problem why is RA playing Tag so sparingly? I have been prety patient up untill now assuming that either he was right about match ups or wanted Tag to get used to the team. It would be one thing if Tag were not doing anything with his PT, but in the limited min he hs had he has virtualy closed off the paint. Wtih Kidd and VC penatrating like they do tonight would be good time to give the bitguy some serious min ans let him turn the paint into a no fly zone.

I heard this thrown around this morning, probably in a joking manner, but I think it could be something to at least be considered: A silent protest. Most of the Kings wear the hearts on their sleeves and unfortunately there is nothing that the Kings can do in these situations except if they want to empty their pockets some more. But for one game, good, bad or horrible call, just play basketball. You get called for a foul, raise your hand and then wait for the whistle to resume play. You get hit and no foul is called, just get back on defense. Ignore those 3 blind mice dressed as zebras....Its worth a shot, right?

Not if he goes 2 for 20..........

Smart players know when to adjust their game. If outside isn't working go inside....

we need this win.. i don't think we'll see much of the young guys tonight.. we have the allstar break coming up and i'm sure adelman will ride his big guns tonight.. they definitely want to go on the break with a win and since there's time for the starters to rest after this game, IMO, they'll be used as much as possible..

i'm going to the game! i hope they win!!!!

go kings!!!

Its really really come time for this team to get beyondconcerning themselves with the officials, even enough to intentionally NOT concern themselves with the officials. Its a massive distraction and we have to get back to playing basketball.

Tonights game is pretty dangerous for the Kings.

If VC's ankle is okay he could have a career night seeing as we stopped playing defense lately. He has had 3 40+ point games out of his last 8.

Kidd can penetrate on Bibby all night if Bibby doesn't bring some D. To make matters wose everytime he blows by Bibby our big guys will have to help out and that may get them in early foul trouble. Especially seeing how the ref's are not our friends anymore :)
