While I do think that the black jerseys may look better than the purple jerseys, I gotta say that I'm not terribly too fond of either one. I think a new colour, such as royal blue or something for the away jerseys would be a better design.
Talking about jerseys, why did they change the home jersey from white to light blue? I love the white home jerseys. They were sweet. The light blue ones are OK, but I wouldn't say they're as nice.

I'm ok with purple, but not as a main color.... The road jerseys should be black with purple outlining and white letters while the home should be white with purple and black as secondary colors.

^^^^ actually the writing on the road jerseys should be in silver.... So snorton, VF is right about the silver.

I can't help it if you don't see the silver. The official team colors are purple, black and silver.
Sorry right back at you. If you don't like ROYAL PURPLE for the Kings, you're just missing the whole concept.

Seems like when we started wearing the new uni's bad things started happening to the kings. Ever since we started wearing these new uni's our record has decreased every year like in 01-02 we were 61-21, 02-03(when we started wearing the new uni) we were 59-23, 03-04 we were 55-27, and this year we were 50-32. In the new uni's Bobby started getting hurt every year, Webb went down with a knee injury, Peja missed some games, and Brad went down with a broken leg while at practice. So I say we need some new uni's b/c it seems like the ones we wear now are cursed or something.

I never did vote in this poll because my preference is for black with purple or purple with black...makes no difference to me. I do not want to give up totally on the purple because it is the color of Royalty and we need to keep it...IMHO. I also like the black because it is a "tough" look.

The whole reason the thread was revived is because in my bleary-eyes I THOUGHT Hart and Price were given black jerseys. I saw a quick glimpse on the news, registered the numbers - 3 and 7 - and afterwards realized it wasn't home jerseys they were given. It was aways - and I thought they were black.
Apparently not.
