Considering several of us have been saying the same thing, I thought I'd post this.
I understand Bucher isn't loved around here. But man, there are some very confusing things happening in regards to Boogie. IF TRUE...
I actually believe Bucher this time. It makes the most sense. I believe at the time of Corbin's firing, Karl was discussed. I believe 'they' told Boogie that they believed Karl was a bad fit with Boogie. I also believe they were lying through their teeth when they said that to give Boogie the impression they actually care what he thinks, and to butter him up for Corbin.
Karl, in this FO's delusional theory of how basketball works, is the exact coach they should want. Despite his long history showing he's NOT really a run and gun coach, but just a very good coach who uses the talent, and situation (mile high Denver) to maximize efficiency. Karl's career shows he can operate at any pace. With an always efficient offense. Efficient is more important anyway. So despite the FO seemingly hiring him for the wrong reasons, I think it can still work.
But considering how dumb this FO seems to be, Karl is the poster child cause I doubt they have the knowledge to have any clue what Karl did in Seattle or Milwaukee. Denver teams have been running since the 80's with Doug Moe, probably since Denver first got a team in the ABA. Every coach in Denver runs. Always has. Highest scoring game in NBA history involved the nuggets. In Denver.
Sacramento is not Denver. But for their stated mission, there are two coaches who seem to fit, Don Nelson, and George Karl. One is retired.
Fans did the math pretty quick.
So telling Boogie he doesn't fit, it's just a lie. You can't have a better fit, in the FO theory. IF TRUE...
Also, fwiw, Bucher claims what some have been saying (ok, me in particular) and that's that Malone was fired, at least partly, for insubordination. Simple as that.
Is Boogie still part of the future for the Kings?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...able-for-demarcus-cousins-to-to-demand-escapeThis is not Cousins being angry because he doesn't like Karl. Did you hear anger in his voice when he cryptically asked reporters, "How you going to stop God's plan?" No, you heard confusion and puzzlement because this is the same Karl who, Cousins was told earlier in the season, would not be the right coach for him, a source said.
Forget the semantics over when, or even if, Karl is hired. Cousins has been told it's what the Kings want to do after being told it wasn't, which raises a serious question: How much does owner Vivek Ranadive really value Cousins?
After all, team and league sources say Cousins made it clear he didn't want Mike Malone fired with the Kings 11-13 and murmurs of Cousins being an MVP candidate before he contracted viral meningitis. Ranadive, a source says, told Cousins he had to do it because Malone didn't get along with GM Pete D'Alessandro and had been insubordinate by missing a meeting.
