Kings/Miami/Philly

Smills91

Starter
Kings get:
Andre Miller
James Posey
Wayne Simien
Miami '07 pick

Heat get:
Mike Bibby
Jason Hart
Alan Henderson

Sixers get:
Jason Williams
Dorell Wright

then trade Kenny to Milwaukee for Dan Gadzuric/Lynn Greer

Kings new roster:

C: Brad Miller, Dan Gadzuric, Vitaly Potapenko
PF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Wayne Simien, Justin Williams
SF: Ron Artest, Corliss Williamson, James Posey
SG: Kevin Martin, Francisco Garcia, Quincy Douby
PG: Andre Miller, John Salmons, Ronnie Price

waive - Lynn Greer

I like that roster a lot going forward. We basically get a similar caliber PG as Bibby at half the cost and get some future assets. We still have tradeable pieces and we've gotten younger and in a better contract situation overall.

We've gotten younger? Maybe. Better contract situation? Not necessarily. And we certainly haven't gotten any better.

so basically we trade a good PG for another good PG but we're also gettin Posey, Simien, AND a good 1st for Hart. dont you think we're getting too much? i look at your new trade threads on RealGM each day and i dont remember 1 opposing fans ever like your trade ideas. its always lopsided in favor of the kings.

Would you prefer it to be lopsided in favor of the other eam? I'm sorry but this is a pretty balanced trade and meets what each team is trying to do.

How can that be the new roster if Bibby has been traded? You might want to recheck... not that it will matter anyway. I'd like to see how you could get Milwaukee to pick up Kenny Thomas. It ain't gonna happen.

yes very balanced and thats why every other fans laugh at all your trade ideas.

Miami give up Posey, Wright, Semien, JWill, and a 1st for Bibby. thats balance all right. you overrate Bibby and Miller way to much, while underrating other teams players.

It's a two way street...the truth is probably right in between.

Erm, what?

What are you doing? Just posting every possible combination so that at some point you can simply point to one of them and claim you got it right?

As I pointed out above, you haven't even got the Kings roster right.

There's no need to be an jerk here. I think the trade is pretty good for all three teams involved, using condescending remarks to make yourself feel better is pretty juvenile.

P.S. Sorry for the type-o all great one.

I'm not opposed to seeing Andre Milller as our veteran, pass-first PG while we rebuild. Would much rather see us go out and sign Mo Williams with cap space, however.

The Sixers can get more than just JWill and Posey for Andre Miller. They already said they've turned down many offers for Dre Miller. At the very least, they want a high to mid 1st round pick in return.

I wasn't being a jerk. I was pointing out that you - the one who is making such a fuss about this being such a good deal - didn't even have a correct roster. If it was simply a typo, perhaps you might consider proof-reading your concepts before you post them.

You think the trade is good. That's fine. If you want honest feedback, however, you're going to have to realize not everyone is going to buy into your rationales, especially when the proposal is so lop-sided there's aboslutely NO CHANCE of it going through.

Anybody can throw a bunch of names into the realGM trade checker and come up with possible combinations. One of the things I love most about Kingsfans.com is we have some members who are really creative in coming up with trades (and justifications for all teams involved) that might actually be worth discussing. This IMHO isn't one of them.

And you still haven't explained that rather quixotic comment:

It's a two way street...the truth is probably right in between.
