I think the Mavs still have their pick their season. would be cool to move Richaun for it

They do have it, but since they've traded away 2023, it would have to be a draft-day deal. Of course, anything that happens after the season and before the draft is effectively a draft-day trade anyway.

Kings are not giving Holmes enough time to get into position for the offensive rebound, leading to transition buckets for the Mavericks.

Without Luka, the Kings are pretty much better than or equal to every Mavs starter. Winning this game should be a given. Losing would just be so lolzzz. Take absolutely nothing from this game. Like the last game, the Kings are the more talented team. Talent > coaching.

Really good first quarter all things considered. DDV hit a couple tough threes, hope that gets him going shooting wise. Not necessarily shots I would have liked him to take but, hey, he hit them.

Kayte says that it was always sweeter when you got to go up against a college teammate, and now I'm imagining her setting the world's hardest screen on fellow Gaucho/former Monarch Stacy Clinesmith.

Jason Kidd saw what Sabonis did to them in the first three minutes and said, "Nope! We're not doing forty-five more minutes of that!"

Wheb Fox comes back in, can we just run a Fox-Sabonis pick and roll every time down please? They wont be able to stop Sabonis rolling to the rim + Fox in the midrange as a dual threat.

Also, as a side note, seeing the Mavs without Luka really highlights how good/valuable he is to their team.

I wouldn't say that. In order to be a good team, you have to start proving you can beat teams you're much better on paper than. Something the Kings have failed to do for 16 years.

Now the value of wins this year specifically? Sure, can debate that. But being winning vs bad teams is the first step to becoming a playoff team.
