[Rumor] Kings looking to ‘move up’ in the draft

When you have no first round pick, quite literally any trade you make that puts you in the first round even at number 30 is trading up in the draft. So I wouldn’t over read into the headline.

Clayton is a very, very, very Monte move. Don't know what Perry thinks, but still, I see the fit and potential for immediate results.

If he is the target it’s probably going to need to be that 20th from Miami.
Agreed, I wouldn't feel safe in getting him (if he were an absolute target) beyond that - maybe not even there depending on other teams. That #16 from Orlando that they don't have anymore would have felt more comfortable.

Either way, there will be some value in the draft in the 20s for teams that hit, if we get a pick we just have to draft smart!

Ace Bailey has not worked out for the 76ers. He is not exactly showing high interest in being drafted there. What would it take to execute a trade with the Kings for no. 3?

He isn't working out for anyone and is acting like he's entitled. Not someone I would be trading up to draft.

I'm pretty sure he's the second-best player in the draft. I would absolutely trade up to grab him, especially if I were on a rebuilding arc.

Isn’t his best trait that he was hitting rough shots that’s a major red flag
His best trait is that he can create his own shot at 18. Only guy outside of Flagg in this draft who has a chance to be a franchise player, in my dumb opinion. And let's be clear, I am a moron. But that's where I am on this draft.
