Welcome, fellow Kings fans!
Reading this morning's paper, it shouldn't come as a big surprise to anyone to see the words "Kings" and "injuries" together...

Here's what the Bee had to say about today's game:

KINGS UPDATE
Status: With the race for eighth in the West remaining tight between the Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans and Utah, tiebreakers and conference records might come into play. If that's not enough motivation, the Kings face the prospect of losing their fourth game in their last five outings.
Trend: After scoring 100-plus points in six of seven games, the Kings have done it only once in their last four. Not surprisingly, those sub-100 games have been losses. Tonight they return to the house where scoring was such a major issue Feb. 3, when Sacramento went 0 for 20 in the fourth quarter of an 89-79 loss.
Injury report: Kevin Martin, bruised thigh, questionable; Mike Bibby, right shin, probable; Kenny Thomas, left shoulder, probable.
JAZZ UPDATE
Status: During a stretch that began with a loss to the Kings on Feb. 5 at Arco Arena, the Jazz is 9-12. Utah has lost five of its last seven games, with one of the victories coming Tuesday against Phoenix. The Jazz's final 14 games are evenly divided between home and the road.
Trend: After missing nearly a year with hamstring and foot problems, forward Carlos Boozer is back. He returned Feb. 10, but he has come into form by averaging 24.6 points and 9.8 rebounds in his last five games.
Injury report: Gordan Giricek, left Achilles' tendinitis, out; Andre Owens, stress fracture of left leg, out; Robert Whaley, back spasms, doubtful.
Best matchup: Bibby vs. Williams - Williams was coming off the bench when these teams last met, and he'll have the tall task of slowing Bibby. The Kings' point guard struggled in the Feb. 3 game, scoring 15 points on 4-for-16 shooting from the field and hitting 1 of 6 three-pointers. Bibby's 10-point night against the Lakers on Wednesday was his lowest total since Feb. 10.

It's a COLD day up here in the forest. The snow is melting, primarily because of the buckets and buckets of rain that have come down since yesterday. The wind is blowing and, in general, it looks a lot more like early February outside than the last week of March...
I've got a fire going in the woodstove and I'm simmering some country style spare ribs in the kitchen. The VF21 abode is nice and warm...and I'm looking forward to a good game tonight.
