It's here! It's finally here!
...
Or at least it will be some 17 hours, 40+ minutes from now.
If you're new here and you're trying to find a way to follow the game if you can't see it on TV and don't like the idea of listening to the audio feed from the OTHER team's point of view, this just might be the thread for you.
It's the official Kingsfans.com Play-By-Play thread where I post an ongoing narrative about the game from the viewpoint of one of the most rabid Kings fans on the planet - me! It's not perfect and I may make the occasional error, but I'll try to give you as unbiased a view as possible of the game as it unfolds. I ask that people not post comments in the thread during the game as it can get pretty confusing if several different people are posting at the same time. In addition, I'm on a dial-up connection and it really slows things down if there's a lot of activity in the thread while I'm trying to keep it as current as possible.
This thread, and everything here at Kingsfans.com, is possible because of the generosity and dedication of our board owner, Jeremy. You don't have to pay anything to participate here; you don't even have to register if you just want to read. We're a bunch of very loyal Kings fans around here, and we're always glad to welcome new folks into the fold.
If you would like to help defray the costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and running, you can consider becoming a Contributing Member. For the details, check out Contributing Member
If you want to interact with other members during the game, you have a couple of alternatives:
1. You can post your comments in the game thread. piksi, our resident and eternal piksimist (if you don't understand the term, don't worry - you will soon), starts the discussion thread and it's a pretty exciting place to be during the game.
2. You can participate in Mr. S£im Citrus' world-famous CHAT. It's located at mIRC. The server is irc.bludgeon.org and the channel is #Kingsfans.
3. You can do both!!!
It's time for people to come on in, grab a seat, fasten your safety belts and hold on tight. It's time for Sacramento Kings basketball and, once again, we're in for a great ride!!!
GO KINGS!!!!!
