Dwyane Wade: ''You've got some teams that are special offensively. That team ... they're just go-go-go. That was like a conditioning test out there. They're using their strengths as a team. That's the league, man.''

FWIW, below you'll see De'Aaron and Willie Trill out in front of the break ....

Some thoughts:

That Heat fan is right that the Heat should have been up many more points in the first half. The Kings were missing open 3s and getting stonewalled by Whiteside at the rim. The Heat did not take advantage on the offensive end and commited sloppy turnovers that the Kings needed to stay in range,

Then the second half hit, the threes started dropping and Whiteside's impact got nullified by outside shooting. I think Spoe was ready to call it a blowout and leave his bench out there, but the Kings are too inexperienced to put away a team cleanly. (Both teams play tomorrow, so Spo has reason to rest guys.)

There's a psychological advantage to playing fast: the other team always get pulled into it against their own best interests. Teams shoot quick, try passes they shouldn't and give up fast breaks the other way. Fox has learned not to care about the last score and run the back right back at the defense. The Kings only hope to defend is to tire the other team out by the 4th quarter.

just got done watching the replay of the game and the Kings weren't shy about putting them up, which is what a lot of us wanted to see. Utilizing the young legs and athleticism on this team and out run your opponent. Bjelica was the man once again, filling up the stat sheet.

Not much I can add to what's been posted already. However, for the first time in years, I find myself feeling anxiety during the game. I find myself squirming around in my recliner. I can feel my competitive spirit emerging once again. I haven't felt that way in a long time about this team. We have a young group of winners on the floor. They don't quit! And that's what winners are made of. No no, I'm not expecting the playoffs. But dam, for the first time in a long time, I really don't know what my expectations should be. Now that's fun!

By the way, how in the world did a player like Bjelica get so overlooked? Sorry he's taking you minutes Bag's, but watch and learn. This dude knows how to play the game. Kudos to Vlade for convincing him to sign here. Looking forward to the next game... Didn't say that a lot last season.

In past seasons this is exactly the type of game the Kings would have gave up in after going down early, GMS ((Grown Man Stein) showed up after Whiteside got the better of WCS early, Buddy/Fox were terrific, Bjelly did it all what a win imo I didn't even think the Kings played that well but still won.

The unsung hero was Shump not only his shooting but the way he covered up defensive breakdowns with his help D was unreal had a ton of deflections as well.

Gotta love bejelica drawing the tech on adebayo. One of the games underrated entertaining highlights in my opinion. Nemanja Tried to reach for the ball before bam could hand it to the ref and i think psychologically he knew Bam would be hyper competitive about it and he calmly took a step to the baseline the moment Bam reacted. Belly is a nuanced player.
I think Bjelica tried to get the ball and start a semi fast break as they did the whole night.

That was impressive. Everyone knows how hard it is to win in Miami. Willie got punked by Whiteside multiple times in the first quarter and still wound up with an efficient 26 and 13. Great game from him and great adjustments as well from him and the coach.

He really struggled in the first quarter, but adjusted really well. Those back to back dunks near the end of the first just seemed to turn things around.

Wasn't Belly some kind of Star in Europe or something?

I haven’t felt that WCS could be a part of the future for 2-3 years until this game, sort of. But it’s mainly within the context of how he fits with the current starters/core than what I think of his talent. Still big holes that need improving (rim/rebounding), but the way he’s fitting in with the unit and his offensive improvement leave the door open as of now, which could change back at a moments notice. He’s really become a modern C offensively. Still wouldn’t severely pay him though, as I see him as a good fit more than a quality player as of now

We are in pace to have the worst dressed management in the all NBA history.
Are you serious guys?

Are you serious? Reggie Theus was incredibly well dressed. Remember what happened under his leadership?
