Kings-Grizzlies PBP for Feb. 12

Greetings, fellow Kings fans!!!

Another beautiful day here in the forest, if you can overlook or somehow avoid the slush and mud that has replaced the snow and ice on the many roads that aren't paved up here. All things considered, however, it's a small price to pay for living in such a beautiful place.

The Kings are on the road, and once again they're in the midst of some pretty nasty weather. They'll be flying from Memphis to Houston right after the game and I hope the storms I'm seeing in the south right now are all gone by the time the Kings take to the air.

I don't know what to expect tonight. This is a game the Kings should win with no trouble. But it's the games they should win that have seemed to give them the most problems. Let's hope they got a good night's rest and didn't decide to do too much "Walking in Memphis."

I'm switching to a different type of coffee tonight in my eternal quest to find the perfect combination of lucky talismans, beverages and food items to ensure a victory. And yes, I'm positive that if I do find the right combination it will be all the Kings need to right their ship.

Ah, but they could have strolled the riverfront area and worn themselves out LONG before curfew. That, of course, is what I was referring to - not the "stroll" of Memphis.

I'd forgotten just how empty the Memphis arena would be. I think there may actually be more people at some of the Kings's practices than are at the game tonight. And that's a shame -

I sure wish they could lift the FedEx Forum and drop it back down in Natomas. It's a beautiful facility.
