kings favored by 2 vs thunder...amazing

in years gone by this is the classic kind of game the Kings would not show up too.

shorthanded team, struggling, we'd hand them an easy win.

lets see what they do tonight.

Keep in mind virtually none of those players (or coaches, or owners, or front office people) are around anymore. And the one it bothered the most is now our superstar.

As exciting as that may be, the Thunder aren't exactly the same team we are accustomed to playing. Their best players are injured.

This game is going to be tough...regardless of the star power out. The thunder have a lot of good defensive big bodies to throw at DMC. They are going to need some other players step up on the offensive side of the ball.

Who would of thought 2nd week of the NBA we would be favorites to beat the thunder on their court!

The Thunder*

*Currently missing the best basketball player in the world, an all-star point guard, and several good depth pieces and reduced to playing Lance Thomas and Sebastian Telfair for significant minutes

We need to "consolidate" our wins over strong teams, by winning these kinds of games against teams that are struggling or undermanned.

We need a big game by JT against Ibaka. He needs to get out quick to contest the outside shots that Serge is relying on

How is this even possible? Don't people realise literally half of their roster is injured? I think They have only 7-8 Available players

This is a classic trap game. We coming off a big win, them hungry for a win. They took the Griz to the wire and their bigs could really slow down Cousins. Also Rudy is questionable with a virus so we need our perimeter guysbto have big games. We really need to win this game though if we want to think playoffs, if the Thunder get in a huge hole, who knows if they can bounce back, or if those injuries turn into nagging ones.

They're 1-5 without two of the top players in the game. If we're favored in Dallas or Memphis, that'll mean a fair amount more, if the betting line is your type of thing.

It appears, at least on thunderfans.com , that Thunder fans are noticing/fearing our Boogie Monster. Not real impressed with them calling us "Seattle Kings"...seems tacky in a lot of different ways considering how Oklahoma City got their team to begin with.

one fun fact....I believe the Kings have never beaten OKC at home since their existence ...let's
go streak busting!
