It's not talked about enough, but the Sixers trading UP for Fultz and not taking Tatum is right there in terms of draft "oops" like Bagley and Doncic. Dude is just going to be a top 5 MVP candidate for the next 8 years.
Speaking of, I just heard some Golden States podcast where they blamed James Wiseman haven't a low BBIQ to play in the GSW system, which to me is also not talked about enough how much they F'd up that draft considering that they could easily have drafted Lamelo if they want a wild card pick, Obi Toppin if they want an ultimate highflyer, Devin Vessell if they want extra defense, Tyrese Haliburton if they are all about BBIQ, or even Tyrese Maxey, Saddiq Bey, even Precious Achiuwa is getting a hang of the league. I could go on... (Desmond Bane was drafted 30th that year)

Great analysis from Matt Barnes there. You can't leave KZ on an island vs Tatum for like 8 seconds of the shot-clock. Someone has to show to get him to give up the ball

I see you in these game threads a BIT more often than usual years. Might you be finding a bit of spark of Kings fandom?
Nah. I'm still Off That Narcotic™. Since VF's passing, I've been trying to pick up the slack for the other mods, since they have less free time in the evenings than I do. Also, they occasionally take the night off to go to home games, which I'm obviously not doing, since I don't live in California.

But I'm happy for you guys that the Kings are starting to turn it around; being a mod on this message board is a lot less bothersome when the Kings are good.

Wheels have fallen off

Kings path to victory is dubious if Huerter, Monk, and Keegan 1-14 from three against any team..let alone Boston

The training staff had better come correct with the Gatorade and orange slices, because I don't think that Brown can afford to give Sabonis any rest in the fourth quarter.

Credit to Bostons D though, a lot of those 3's are desperation and late in the clock. This is the downside of running half court sets that team so much time to develop.

I think if we're going to get out of this hole it's going to start at the defensive end and that means chasing those shooters off the three-point line.
