[Game] Kings @ Cavaliers - 1/2/13

It would be nice to see the Kings take this and get their second road win.

This season one thing has remained the same and that good PG's have gone off on us and with Iriving and Waiters there this will be a hard game. Our PG's imo have to be really aggresive like they were vs Curry, Kyrie is not a good defender at this stage of his career and hes the Cavs lifeline, if we get him in foul trouble or slow him down by attacking him than thats great. Outside of that Alonzo Gee shouldn't provide much trouble to Salmons hes a lower skilled slasher without much of a jumper, CJ Miles can get hot but we got people to cover him and Thompson/Zeller/AV (if he plays) are not going to school our bigs one on one but will hustle till they die and do move fairly well without the ball.

So the keys to the game will be attacking Kyrie and boxing out imo if we can do these things even on a back to back we should be able to win.

Varejao is out which is good for our anemic rebounding, but Tristan Thompson has been picking up the slack. Irving and CJ Miles can definitely torch us. Still, they've only won 3 games at home. Definitely a possibility for a Kings win!

Who can forget last years game here, IT's fantastic, near tripple double night, the shoulda been game winner from Cuz and then the foul from Tyreke that handed them the W.

Shooters have to show up in the 1st half tonight. We don't want to get in situations where IT/Jimmer/Salmons are ISO'ing to score points. Cousins kicking out to open shooters and a few swing passes has been effective the last 5 games; let's keep to it

I don't want to say game 32 is a must-win for us, but it's kind of surprising how we're only 6 games out of a 6 seed. There's still time to string some wins together and make a run at a playoff spot. We need to start winning now though, especially against bad teams like the Cavs

Cavs are awful, they are missing their best rebounder. So if we can contain Kyrie we have a chance to win, but then again you never know what Kings team will decide to show up in this one.

Exactly, and, quite frankly, most of the time on the road the horrible Kings team shows up. This is a common characteristic of bad teams. They are horrible on the road.

Couple of thoughts so far:

IT can't do anything when Irving is guarding him
Cisco needs to keep cutting like he's doing
Salmons is still playing team ball
DMC is overpowering the Cavs. Needs to stop whining to the refs. It's very annoying

Kings have huge dominance inside against Cavs. Another DMC triple double is scripted unless Kings are so dumb they don't follow such an obvious script.
