Kings/Bucks

Okay, I've been spinning my wheels for months now trying to figure out how to obtain a ligitimate Power Forward that can score and rebound. The Cleveland rumours of Bibby for Gooden leave me a little cold...certainly an upgrade but not an enthusiastic deal IMHO. And although there are several PF's in the upcoming draft there's no guarantee we will get one or that they'll be any better than this; what I propose is Brad Miller for Charlie Villanueva with Gadzuric thrown in to match salaries. We do it to get a young PF that can rebound and score while giving up a big salary Center who admittedly makes our high post offense work, but then Hawes can do all of the things Brad does for a whole lot less money. The Bucks do it to solidify their Center position and already have a set young starting front court with Bogut, Ji and Simmons...plus Brad can further "school" their young big guys. And, when they want to go tall, they can throw Bogut, Ji and Brad out there at the same time.

Villanueva does not exactly come to mind when i here the phrase legitimate Power Forward. He is only averaging 9 points n 4 boards a night in the east. Far from impressive, plus I would hate to see what some of the PF's out west would do to him. I would rather hold on to Miller, Im sure we can get something better in return. Thanks but no thanks....

The Bucks don't need to solidify their center spot and Brad Miller will not take them to the next level. I don't see them making this trade. What the Bucks need is more consistency from the SF and PF positions.

If we could get Yi, I'd be up for that....I like his game. Not sure the Bucks would move him though.

Yi is starting if I remember right or at least playing a lot of the bench...so is Noah on the Bulls (playing big minutes off the bench). I was interested in Villanueva when he was a Rookie as he was surprising people with his play, but he has done little in Milwaukee. With the good play of Noah, Tyrus Thomas has rode the pine, now he would be a nice big to bring to Sac!
