King's Biggest problem

yeah, too me its also a lack of great post players. I know artest is good but brad miller and kenny thomas and Shariff arnt exactly getting the job done. and also I hate how there is no sense of urghency UNTIL there is 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter. We should play hard the entire game.

The same as it's been all season.

No quality power forwards, or Corliss who is still too small to play the 4 and we play him at the 5(?!) sometimes.

A big slow center who can pass beautifully, but can't stop anybody in the paint.

Too much one-on-one in key moments, blaming Muss here.

Bad substitutions. Also Muss.

No heart. No cohesion. No teamwork. No leadership.

Brad Miller is a great passer but on the offense and defensive end he isnt that great. Hes 7 feet tall and his free throws still hit the front of the rim. we either need a better center or better forwards, or in the best case both.

To me its the lack of a really decent big man to guard the paint. Then its Muss.

Those are big reasons for sure we are a very short team, and the 7 footer we have doesn't play like it. He is the PG assist guy we don't have in Bibby. A very unique Center in deed. He does set some awesome screens, understands the game, but due to a lack of motivation or age and health reasons isn't the force we need as our starter. He would be a good backup on a vet team like the Spurs though, more a tool in their arsenal, but not a show piece type guy at least not this late in his career.

Also not only Muss is the problem in his subs, but the guys isn't respected by his players who view him as a small non-NBA theorical know it all who always yells at them, gets a DUI before coaching his 1st game as a King, and then wusses out of his punishment by not giving back to the community. His subbing is also something that know one can understand. I know we don't have the depth we need, but his subbing is very weird and cannot be explained.

People can keep pointing to our bigs as our problem, but I disagree. They aren't a dominating force in the league, but saying we've got no post presence is a joke. We have no post presence because we don't use the post.

I actually saw us run a 3 man weave! Yes, a 3-Man-Weave. I mean, wasn't that basically put on the back shelf about a three decades ago?

Our biggest problem lies in the fact that we have no direction and no plan - game in and game out. We've got zero player discipline and no one with the ability (and worse, no desire) to create for anyone else. The majority of our offensive possessions start and end with one or no passes.

Then defense - good lord. There isn't one player on this roster that is playing defense anymore. We've got about 4 guys that ever did try on defense. You can blame the bigs for their physical inadequacies, but I blame people that don't try. (big finger pointing towards our guards)

This all comes back down to the coach.

I belive that Muss might be a brilliant basketball mind, but he has no ability to execute ... and worse, he has no ability to get people to buy into whatever it is he happens to be selling. Muss is like the high school teacher that really understands his subject, but he's not out there breaking new ground or applying it. I lost faith in the guy when he said it was going to take half a season to determine what he wants to do.

If we had Jerry Sloan, we're a 4-5 seed. Period.

There are no problems as long as we trust what is happening right now. This situation is full of opportunities. Each one of our "problems" is an opportunity is disguise, a chance to move forward in some way. I actually have a very good feeling about the team right now. I see a lot of progress on the horizon.
