Long-time reader of the Board but I finally decided to sign-up today and post. I am a Kings fan till the end but very frustrated by the current status.

This situation is a complete disaster. I understand the disconnect but you cannot keep firing coaches as a solution to resolve problems. If the Kings decide to fire Karl, the season is over. Why not just let him finish it out?

The Kings main problem is their draft decisions the past five years, this has nothing to do with coaches. If you look at the current roster the issue is scoring or lack thereof. Take a look at the past five years:

Jimmer - Terrible Pick
Thomas Robinson - Is he even in the league?
Ben McLemore - Cannot shoot
Stauskas - Gone
Cauley-Stein - Average player who was drafted too high. he should have gone around 11 or 12.

The Kings have made horrible draft decisions and now they are paying for it. Drafting Cauley-Stein over Mudiay shows that Vlade isn't as good as some of you all think he is. He is learning on the job. Mudiay is only 19 yeras old and will be an NBA all-star and Cauley-Stein will be lucky to be the next Noah.

The SG position is killing this team as well. BM cannot shoot, Rondo isn't a scorer and Belinelli is just a three point shooter. The Kings should have signed Lou Williams and let him start SG with Belinelli off the bench.

Regardless, this situation is a mess and at some point it isn't the coaches fault. Karl has been coaching in the NBA for many years and been very successful. The Kings need to take a look at this roster and evaluate everything.

Welcome to the board.

This topic is being discussed in several other threads so I'm going to close this one. We're already segmented enough...and it's probably going to get worse before it gets better.
