King Clutch

they in fact do NOT "may have to review this" when there was time on the clock after it went through the net.

I also don't think they needed to review it for how many points it counted for.

LOL

Coach challenging: "We're challenging the play to see if it in fact when through basket."

Ref's into monitor: "The six stages of grief are Shock, Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and then Acceptance."

We play (and Fox being very unselfish tbh) too much unselfish basketball for it to happen, but I think Fox has ascended this season to like one of 6 or 7 guys with the ability to win a scoring title. Like if he could just find any sort of 34-35% from 3 consistency, that would open u his already unstoppable mid/at the rim game so much.

Just an unreal turn-around from where he was a year ago around this time.

Yeah his play did a 180 when the Kings traded Hali. He showed he could play at a much higher level than he had previously at the end of last year. He's kept that up this year with the added clutchness to his game.

Also shout out to Monk last night. Ball handling wise, he was as bad as we've seen with some really poor decisions and costly turnovers but his shot really saved us. He's shooting 50% from 3 in the last 10 games.

Starting to come around on that elite 3pt shot he's had the past two seasons. If that fully returns with his newfound playmaking.... man. What a steal

Flash back to Mike Brown talking about believing in Fox’s defensive potential at his introductory press conference

Fox has always had defensive potential. It’s just sometimes ( used to be most times) he just didn’t care. Even in the Chicago game he had some atrocious 1st quarter defensive possessions.

the reason people were down on him was not because he couldn’t play defense. At times he just chooses not to. Even as well as he has played this year, a good chunk of the Kings 1st / 4th quarter defensive rating delta (which is huge) can be traced directly to Fox.

He missed a FT and doesn’t have “proper focus”, so I’ve read here at KF.

It’s amazing he could manage to hit such a clutch shot, since he’s so unfocused and unclutch.

There is room for improvement from the line, as much as you don't seem to want to acknowledge the possibility of that o_O.

You know, not being satisfied with some regular season success and continuing to explore all avenues to climb higher ;)
