What;s RealGM? Real General Manager? It sounds like a software...where do you download it? This trade sounds really false if you think about it. Have a nice 4th to everyone tooI have a lot of problems believing this trade could happen. Just running the numbers gives you a LOT of headaches. I've tried a lot of various combinations between the Timberwolves and the Sixers and cannot get the numbers to work through realGM if Garnett and Iverson are key pieces of the trade.
If your source is correct, it should be very, very interesting. You might want to ask him/her how they get the financial parts to match.
As far as someone else working under the radar, we're talking Kevin Garnett and Allen Iverson. I would strongly suspect that someone on one of the two organization involved OR the league office itself would simply find this too juicy NOT to leak. And I have really strong doubts about Kevin McHale's ability to keep ANYTHING a secret.
At this point, this is just a really vague rumor concerning AI and KG. There's really not much of substance to it at all, especially considering the $$$$ doesn't work through realGM the way you've laid it out there.
I'm not doubting you but I'm sure not convinced this is a deal that has a realistic chance of going through.
Have a nice Fourth!!!
You dont believe me or yoiu dont believe my source? Im posting what my source said... . If my source is wrong (my deepest apologies for wasting your time). I have trust in my source and I will believe him/her until they are wrong

There is no reason for either team to do this, do you agree with me?
You dont have to trust me...I wouldnt trust a person I didnt know...but you can give me the benefit of a doubt. Why would I just post some made up thing if it had no credibility? I like this site and I wouldn't ruin it with nonsense posts.I don't believe you or your source because I don't know either. If you're right then sorry I'm not believing you but still if that happened Kevin Mcfail is the worst GM ever. Worse than Isiah Thomas. I actually think that Foye+Hassel would fit well with Iverson and they'd need some frontcourt help but I still don't think Iverson can win a championship without a second guy like a PP/KG.
KG is an awful fit in Philly. Their roster sucks almost as badly as MN's does but they have no shooting, their best player would be benched because KG plays the same position, and they don't have many good defenders either.
Neither team would make the playoffs and it's just a lateral move that doesn't even fill any roster holes.
Good Post bro...but I dont think it was based on predraft talkFrom my observations: Philly coveted Randy Foye pre-draft, and was trying to work something out where Boston drafts Foye and trades him to Philly for Iverson. Boston drafted Foye, but for some reason dealt him to Portland (maybe they think the younger Telfair would be better for them long-term), who then sent him to Minnesota for Roy. You see where I'm going with this...
The question is, is Philly still interested in Foye, or is someone making a guess based on the pre-draft talk. This deal might be more in the direction of pairing Iverson and Garnett, and not a swapping of stars The latter makes no sense.
