KF - Official Fantasy Football League - 2009

Well I just wanted to tell you all not to worry. I never actually win fantasy leagues, so my dominance the first two weeks shouldn't scare you at all. :p

I think I drafted alright, considering my draft position. My entire season is going to hinge on the health of LT and Gore, which may be a very bad thing.

Holy crap I think I jinxed myself. Gore has a sprained ankle and LT already missed one game with the possibility of more. :(

It's beginning to look as though there may be a problem within the Gridiron Devils ranks... team morale is already starting to slip...

I sat Tom Brady because they said the weather was going to be heavy rain and high winds. And then I watch the game and its cold and the football field is covered in snow and its snowing pretty good. So, I sit Tom Brady. Who would have thought he would throw 358 yards and 5 TD all in the 2nd quarter. Tom ended up with 380 yards and 6 TD. I'm an idiot. I won't make that same mistake twice.

Wow. I can only imagine how frustrating that must be... One word of advice? Do NOT go outside and kick a tree. It just breaks a toe or two and doesn't help. (And yes, that's the voice of experience speaking to you...)

So, I tried to trade Matt Schaub last week but didn't get any takers. If anybody would like an upgrade at QB, give me an offer for him or Brees. I like Brees better, even though he's scored less so far this year, so an offer for him should be a bit better than for Schaub.

I'm looking for a good RB or WR (preferably RB) that will add a few points a week to me score.

uolj - I am playing you this week and who would have thought you had Brees and I have Brady. I'm looking forward to this QB match up on Monday night.
At least you have Brady so you can root for the Patriots on two levels. :)

It looks like I'm already behind, but we'll see what happens this weekend. Maybe a playoff preview.

I'm not going to lie, that loss hurts. A solid season down the drain. With GB going with the run, I had no chance against Marshall and Peyton. Anyhow it was fun while it lasted.

Congratulations, Venom! I most likely would have lost anyway, but the fate of the Devils was sealed when they put Manning on the bench. My roster, which consisted of Peyton Manning and two of his favorite receivers, was pretty doomed at that point regardless of what else might have happened.

I'm still pretty happy, though. This is the best I've ever finished in this league!

:D

Yup, congrats venom!

I was pretty disappointed to lose to you last week. Well done. Maybe I'll give this league a go again next year. :)
