saw this on draftexpress twitter

"RT @ChristopheEPcom NBA draft early entrant Kevin Seraphin injured his knee Saturday. Will miss Wednesday's Playoff game reports Basketnews."

don't think he'll get picked up unless its not serious. i think he may pull out and wait til next season if he doesn't like what he hears

Apparently, it's not too serious : he is out for 3-4 weeks but he has to pass some more medical tests.

Rumors say he will withdraw from the draft unless he's got serious garantee from an NBA team.

My personal opinion is that going to the NBA right now is a little bit too early for him considering how raw he still is offensively. I'd prefer to see him staying and PLAYING one more year in Europe in order to progress.

I don't want him to make the same mistake than other french big men (Mahinmi, Ajinça, Petro) who left Europe too soon, were not well prepared and never had a chance in the NBA.
When you're young, you have to play.

the nba team that drafts him has the option of signing him to a contract to bring him over..

Indeed but, from what I read, Séraphin wants to join the NBA immediately.

My take is that he will stay in the draft only if his agent gets guarantee that he will be signed this summer.
