Reasonable thoughts following an extremely emotional moment that encapsulates years of daggers into the Kingdom's heart and soul.

This Kingdom just wants to know that somebody local can make the big play and Kevin, given all his strengths and weaknesses, made THE play that will easily emerge a beacon in Kingdom's fabled history.

Keep in mind, there were only a few seconds to work with. We were down a point. He had a lot of court to cover, two very good defenders to include the inimitable Tim Duncan right in his face and only fate left to consider.

It was all literally a blur in time and space until the backboard buzzer lights flashed red and the ball dropped in.

That is some delicious drama.

May that elevate Kevin's game and the Kings momentum.

Remember, RA (and in this case Ron Artest) made some compelling promise about this series. Who are we do doubt that man at this point. He is possessed.

And one final thought;

Mike Bibby, as has been noted but bears repeating, you are the unsung hero.

You made it all happen w/ some defensive valor.

That's exactly how you slay the dragon.

After I almost beat the coffee table into the floor and almost broke my fiancee's hand with the twenty or so high fives I realized just how much this moment in time changed Kevin's life forever. I have attended many of his games over the years and knew he was fast but that speed lastnight was insane. If any of U get the chance to see the replay again today pay attention to where he was standing when Bibby stole that ball and how many steps he took before the shot was leaving his hand. There was no doubt in his mind about what he was going to do when he received the pass. The phones here on the east coast rang for hours. Grandma, his mother, and friends and family. Kingsgurl called and informed us of the poster hiest after the game. When I told Kev he just laughed. Big ups to Bibby Bonzi Artest, and Kevin. And, it looks like Miller is close to getting back into this fight. We can beat these jokers. Do not blink, cause here come the KINGS!!!!!!!
