COMMENTARY | Kevin Martin's stay with the Oklahoma City Thunder last season was not a good one. Acquired in the deal that sent James Harden to the Houston Rockets, Martin was supposed to fill the sixth-man role and never seemed to get comfortable. After averaging 14 points per game with the Thunder (his lowest total since his second year in the league), Martin hit the free-agent market looking for a place to return to the elite scorer he was with the Rockets and Sacramento Kings. As it would turn out, Martin would find the perfect new home by reuniting with Rick Adelman and joining the Minnesota Timberwolves.
